• Our Story

Black Wolves Kennel

was established though our love for German Shepherds, which has been passed down in our family for generations. Mesmerised by our pet's intelligence, loyalty, character & beauty, we set out to share what we had with others.

At BWK we are a member of the South Australian Canine Associations (#5100045404). Our puppies are kept in house and loved as our own for the first eight weeks of their lives. During this period it is our responsibility to ensure they are healthy and happy prior to joining their future home & family. In eight weeks, we make sure the following tasks are completed and taken care of financially: first vaccination, veterinarian general check-up & overall health examination, warming and micro-chipping.

All BWK puppies are accompanied with the following documentation & accreditation: health certificate paper, microchip transfer paper, pedigree paper as well as a German Shepherd specialty folder.

While we are certainly eager to find a home for all puppies in our litters, we do experience a high demand and waiting lists can potentially be upwards of six months at certain times. In order to reserve a puppy, you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of $500 AUD exc. gst. This deposit is credited towards your final invoice and ensures your puppy is reserved for you & you only!

Minimising Risks

is our main priority at Black Wolves Kennel. A common hereditary disease afflicting the German Shepherd Dog is Hip Dysplasia, unfortunately characterised in many dogs in the form of excessive laxity in their joint. At BWK we are aware of all diseases commonly found among German Shepherds, and our dogs are frequently screened for such diseases. We believe in doing anything in our power to prevent re-homing any one of our customers a puppy with potential complications, and are actively seeking more ways to reduce these risks.
